We have lived segregated by so many things throughout our worlds history our ethnicities, religions, borders, genders and politics to name a few.
Being a mixed race man that looks white in America I have had a difficult vantage point in which to view our world throughout my life.
I've had a front row seat to white America's feelings of indifference and or hate which some people openly share when they are not aware they are in mixed company.
I continue to witness and experience the ongoing oppression and injustice towards people of color both morally and economically in this country and around the world.
And it has taken me much of my adult life to teach myself not to hate or resent white people for allowing this treatment of my brothers and sisters to continue to exist. A resentment I still struggle with and a feeling many people of color share towards white people. A energy I know white people have felt including myself because I am rarely recognized by my own people.
These feelings have been difficult for me to navigate my 50 plus years being that half of my relatives are white Spanish Europeans who I love and that have always loved me, my siblings and children.
Thankfully I can also see the many good white people that have the same love in their hearts for all people as you and I do. The same type of white folks that stood and died with MLK when I was a baby because they knew we should all be treated equally.
I see them today on social media and in everyday life helping and advocating for homeless and marginalized people of all races.
We all also see a few other categories of people, Those that openly hate others because they are simply racist, brainwashed or the self induced ignorant that pretend there's not a problem, those that see what's going on but feel helpless to do anything so they are silent. And those that see but are indifferent because oppression and struggle does not effect them.
We also see and acknowledge all of you people of color that are in these categories and have been through out our history, you will never be white and blacks will never want you, we will call you the grey people.
I look at the world today and I realize that we have arrived at a place of now or never for all of humanity. We must do the one thing we have never done before and that is to UNITE. Before we allow the "Elite" to further enslave us all and remove what's left of humanity.
Lets finally face our country's and the world's ongoing war against the Indigenous, Black and Brown people.
A war that is and has been the root of oppression for all of mankind. Once we stand for the least of us the marginalized we stand for all of humanity.
Their game will be over!!!
This ongoing war against people of color has opened the door and become the morally acceptable blueprint for the treatment of all humans who are not part of the "Elite" class.
A treatment that poor white Americans know of middle class white Americans are now experiencing and that people of color have written the book on.
As we all witness the horrific genocide in Palestine and by now have learned about the many unspoken genocides that are taking place in Africa because of the ongoing greed of the elite.
The Umoja Akoben symbol, message and movement clearly will not be received by everyone if it were there would be no need for its creation.
We may never change the hearts of people that choose to oppress and hate other human beings they are motived by superiority and greed.
I no longer have the desire, patience or energy to debate with or educate anyone about the easily verifiable facts of America's history and it's ongoing oppression.
And I may foolishly believe that the good people in the world outnumber the evil ones and that we want to live together in a better world and we're willing to unite and fight for it.
We should be able to finally see that the only real enemy our world has ever had has always been a group of psychopathic evil and greedy people that need to some how be removed from control of our humanity.
Please understand I am only talking to the humans that don't want to live in a world with supremacy, injustice, hatred, hunger, unnecessary illness and homelessness. Especially now that we've all been shown that the resources to fix the problems that have plagued us all have always been available.
To all others we accept your position and your right to hate who ever you choose too. We only ask that you are transparent in your convictions and stand on your beliefs by identifying yourselves so the rest of us can cease all business and interactions with you immediately. I also believe many of us are open to discussing how we can segregate completely from you because living with you has been exhausting to say the very fucking least.
For all others.
Step 1
UNITE
Step 2
Develop this platform so we are able to communicate, organize and work on our plans of action for our common goal of a better world for all of us.
I will not be the brains behind this effort there are far more qualified and educated people than myself to help us push this mission. What I am is the heart of this movement and as we all know I will soon become the target of our government for knowing we can do better as humans. I am willing to give what's left of my life because I refuse to leave our children and grandchildren this shit show silently. Because many of my generation and the generations before were brainwashed into thinking society was actually improving for us. For this I apologize to my children and yours for falling for the small taste of freedom that was given to the few.
Some of us are now paying attention to the laws that are being passed and the protections that are being lifted. The little freedoms we have are being threatened if we remain silent and do not come together right now.
We have all been made involuntarily accessories to crimes against humanity around the world Africa, Palestine, Haiti and here in America its time that silence ended.
Why the Umoja Akoben symbol?
Because in 1958 a symbol was created for the British campaign for nuclear disarmament that symbol later became the world known symbol for peace. While many people around the world loved the idea of living in peace with our fellow man. We all know it was a dream stifled by powers that do not benefit from our peace or unity. This time we aren't just asking for peace we're fighting for our humanity.
Division has been a powerful and effective tool in keeping us looking at each other and not seeing the true source of the conditions in which we live. For most of us that condition has been check to check, poverty, homelessness and just plain struggling.
I created the Umoja Akoben symbol using the Swahili word Umoja "Unity" and the Akoben an African Adinkra symbol "War Horn" meaning a call to action, readiness, voluntarism and awareness of danger.
I made the third bone of the Akoben broken to symbolize the break in our fight for freedom and justice because of complacency and the fear instilled into us by the murdering of our leaders.
Overstand political parties are set aside for this battle they both clearly serve the same corporate machine and not the people.
Additionally Religion and Ignorance will also no longer be an acceptable excuse for hatred if your God has exceptions for kindness and love you belong on the side of hatred.
This war will be very clear, Love versus Hate and it will have no gray areas you will choose a side.
The Umoja Akoben is Trademarked and appropriately an African symbol and word combined.
My motivation for Umoja Akoben was because we needed a much stronger symbol and message than the "Peace" symbol provided us.
To battle injustice, capitalism and the ongoing war against black and brown cultures all over the world will be our greatest stance for humanity.
My decision to appeal to the entire world for this battle comes from my clinging hope that there is truly more love than hate in our world and its time we finally find out.
And if we can not end the hate let us segregate ourselves one last time and take our money with us. And let hate decide where it wants to live because it will no longer be with us.
Our fight for freedom, justice and equality was stifled and discouraged by the murdering of our leaders both in the past and present by our government. While we have a very justified fear to continue our fight we must face that fear one last time for ourselves and our families.
"By any means necessary" The war on us is still very clear while I hope for the support of others history shows us we are still fighting mostly alone and can not wait on or depend on outside help. Our collective economics, strength and intelligence is all we have to fight with it is time we do so. We all know this country and the world owes the black and brown community more than we will ever receive from it. Our continued voluntarily economic business with oppression must end.
Allowing ourselves to be led, divided and manipulated by the mentally psychopathic has proven disastrous for the entire world. And these people are not going anywhere that I know of and neither are we the people wanting to live in love and peace.
Strategic planning and discussions must commence immediately over our continued economic participation with any entity or corporation that choses to oppose the will of the people in their perspective countries. The process for the immediate and complete cleansing of corruption from our leadership and government must be planned and executed. The reform of our justice systems, jailing and police departments must take place with the removal of any and all members that are unfit to uphold the law. Any law abiding citizen that choses to risk their lives serving their communities as police officers dealing with the worst of our society should not be doing so for less than 150k to start including immediate raises for all fire, rescue and teachers. To be paid proportionately by those who benefit from their services.
